Chairman & Chief Executive Officer

Jun is a well-known IT visionary and is widely regarded as one of China’s leading Internet entrepreneurs with an impeccable track record having been involved in three startups – Sendit, Intrinsic and Linktone. He founded Intrinsic Technology which designed and implemented more than 90% of the SMS billing systems for China Mobile and China Unicom and was a major contributor to the success of SMS in China. Jun was also the founder of Linktone, one of the first mobile value-added services providers to China\'s wireless operators. Linktone was successfully listed on NASDAQ in March 2004. A Shanghai native, Jun received a first degree in Computer Science from the Imperial College of Science and Technology at the University of London. Prior to returning to China, Jun was the Chief System Architect of Sendit AB, a Swedish-based mobile messaging company that he co-founded and was acquired by Microsoft in 1999.

 

Scarlett Li – Co-Founder

Scarlett is one of the most influential persons in Asia 's entertainment industry. Prior to co-founding R2G, she was the General Manager of NewsCorp's STAR TV's Channel [V], where she oversaw the entire P&L operations and built Channel [V] into China 's most popular music channel.

Scarlett joined STAR in 1997 as Channel [V]'s Business Development Director in China and increased the visibility of the Channel through the organization of the first ever Channel [V] Chinese Music Awards (CMA) in Shanghai and Beijing which broke viewership records for its genre in China by reaching more than 139 million homes. Subsequently, Scarlett was appointed Director of Government Relations and Business Development for STAR China where she led the expansion of the Company's business into the new media arena.

Scarlett was later appointed General Manager of Channel [V], where she localized the Channel's operation and launched the popular “Made in China ” campaign to increase the pride in and sense of ownership of modern Chinese music by China 's youth. The “Made in China ” campaign has turned Channel [V] into the most popular youth/music brand in China . As of January 2004, the CMA reached 260 million homes, and [V]‘s daily music programs reach more than 75 million households. Revenue during this period increased threefold. The [V] Magazine was launched in January 2004 and a [V] SMS club was formed with its membership reaching 200,000, putting [V] on track to become the No.1 Multi-Media Music platform in China .

Born and raised in China , Scarlett received a B.Com. degree in Australia , majoring in Information Technology and Business Management.

 

Jimmy Wu – Co-Founder

Jimmy is a serial entrepreneur and pioneer in China's entertainment industry. He was the first independent film producer in the PRC and has produced many award winning feature films and TV sitcoms. He also brought the box-office revenue sharing concept to China in 1995. In 1996, as the chief representative for UCI (a joint-venture between Paramount and Universal), Jimmy helped import the three blockbuster movies, “Titanic,” “Deep Impact” and “Saving Private Ryan,” into China and set numerous box office records. Jimmy has also designed and built many modern multiplex cinemas throughout China. The government has recognized and appreciated his efforts in film industry reform. Jimmy is currently leveraging his relationships with the various government organizations to address the anti-piracy initiatives in the Chinese media industry.

 

Fan Bao – Co-Founder

Fan is the founding partner and Chief Executive Officer of China Renaissance Haiwen, a leading independent financial advisory and merchant bank in China . Prior to co-founding R2G, Fan served as Chief Strategy Officer for Asiainfo (NASDAQ: ASIA ), a leading national network integrator and software solutions provider to telecom operators in China . Earlier, he spent seven years as an investment banker with Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse First Boston in the US, UK and Asia focusing on mergers and acquisitions and equity offerings including the $5.6 billion international listing of China Unicom.
